Sci-Fi Corridor for the Cyber Kong Project
A deep dive into creating the narrative atmosphere for the Cyber Kong project. The primary goal was to create a futuristic hangar scene that met production standards while adhering to strict performance constraints for real-time rendering.
Key features include the extensive use of Trim Sheets and Decals to maintain optimal texel density on large surfaces, ensuring visual quality without excessive memory usage.
Modeling — Blender;
Texture baking — Substance Painter (except for Trim Sheets, which were baked in Marmoset);
Texturing in Substance Painter;
The hangar and props contain 70,322 triangles.
Four sets of Trim Sheets were also used to create the environment.
Four sets of 4K textures for objects, gates, and environments;
Two sets of 2K decal textures;
Four sets of 2K Trim Sheet textures.
