There's
one change that really might benefit us. In DS v1.0 you created a
SeaSurface object and applied a SeaSurface material to it. some wave
parameters were in the object's rollout, and some were in the material's
rollout. To get good loopable waves, you had to apply the SeaSurface
material. This was a Bad Thing because the SeaSurface material didn't work
with VRay's GI at all.
Now, however, all the wave parameters are in the object's rollout, so you no
longer need the SeaSurface material to get good loopable waves. So you can
create a Dreamscape SeaSurface object, set it for realistic loopable waves,
and then apply whatever water material you choose to it.
