The workflow involves advanced pattern creation in Marvelous Designer, followed by detailed material authoring in Substance Painter and final cinematic visualization in Blender. Technical Specifications & Pipeline Breakdown:Marvelous Designer: The base denim shorts were constructed using traditional tailoring patterns to ensure accurate fitting, natural fold dynamics, and realistic tension mapping around the waist and seams. The decorative ruffled trim and layered frills were simulated with specific fabric physical properties to achieve a dense, layered look without clipping.Substance Painter: Texturing was performed using a non-destructive PBR workflow. Focused on custom height and normal map generation to mimic heavy denim weave, individual fabric threads, and complex embroidery. Custom alpha channels were integrated to create the distinct mesh-like lace patterns on the gold-brown trim. Metallic and roughness maps were fine-tuned to capture the subtle reflection of the gold zipper and threaded details.Blender (Cycles): The mesh was exported with clean UV layouts for final presentation. The scene utilizes a multi-light studio setup to emphasize surface micro-detail, fabric thickness, and material response under contrasting light.
