Ага, вот что я нашёл.
1. Log into your Windows 2000 or XP system as a system administrator.
2. Go to the control panel.
3. Locate the "Regional Options" control panel application. Launch it.
4. The first property page to come up is the "general" page. On this page, toward the bottom will be "language settings for the system". This contains check boxes with all the languages available and the ones installed for viewing. REMOVE all check boxes, excluding the native language option. NOTE: Windows will not allow you to remove the codepage (the language support) for your native language. Your native language will be checked off, and greyed out on this list.
5. Once ALL check boxes (excluding your native language) have been removed, hit "OK". Windows computers will require a reboot to update the lack of support for these other languages.
6. Once your PC has rebooted, Windows will NO LONGER support other languages. If you frequently view Japanese, Chines, Arabic or Hebrew websites (or run programs in these languages) Windows will no longer display them correctly. You will have to reinstall the code pages for these languages to view them again.
Будем пробовать.
