The best way is to use PolyTrans it has awesome file extension converter that will allow you to import either from Maya or Max with no problems.
One thing u have to look for is PolyTrans, but also you will need plugings for maya and max. You can find them on emule and download them, ain't that big though.
As mentioned above you will need to bake that simulation cuz i am not sure if it transferes rigit bodies solver i don't think so, but it does pretty good everything
