A:. Compatibility and seamless integration with the host system is a high priority for us. In max, it looks like we will be able to achieve full compatibility without too much of a problem. Common problems with 3rd party renderer's come from things like 3rd party and non-trivial max plugins. The raytrace material, afterburn, and shag hair are common examples and so far, it looks like none of these will be a problem. In fact, from what we've seen so far, it looks like FinalRender will even work with Brazil.
