Adobe Illustrator 11.0c Central European, Czech and Polish Update for Windows (Illustrator 11.0 or 11.0a to 11.0c)
These Updates addresse several issues that were identified in Illustrator CS, Central European version (version 11.0 or 11.0a), Czech and Polish versions (version 11.0a).
Changes in Illustrator 11.0c include:
- The scrolling speed and display behaviour of the font list in the Type menu are improved.
- Scripts are better recognized from font names, especially when importing from Illustrator 10, and the support of font database is enhanced.
- Conversion of Greek letters with tonos: the accents are removed in full uppercase words.
- The processing of Symbol/Zapf dingbats fonts is enhanced.
- When importing Illustrator 10 files, soft new line character is now supported.
- When opening Illustrator files, the search for placed objects is improved.
- The Copy/Paste feature of EPS format from InDesign to Illustrator is improved.
- The encoding in several text filters is enhanced.
- Localised Presets files (Graphic Styles, Brushes, Swatches, Symbols) are correctly displayed, including in Save for Web.
- The settings of default files are fixed (default font, font size...).
- In the Swatches, Symbols and Graphic Styles palettes, names are sorted in Czech or Polish alphabetical order.
- In the Character palette, the typing-search of font names is improved.
- In the Info palette, float values are correctly displayed using localised decimal separator.
- In the script submenu of the File menu, localised script names are correctly displayed.
- In the Find and Replace dialog (on Windows), pasting a text containing accented characters is now fixed.
- In some palettes and dialogs, multiline text is correctly displayed on Windows.
- When using non-Roman keyboards on Windows, some shortcut combinations problems are resolved.
- Polish localised menu items are fully displayed on Windows.
- The potential crash when opening the spell check dialog is now fixed.
