MAJOR DAMAGE was launched almost two years ago at SIGGRAPH in the HP booth by director/animator CHRIS BAILEY, producer KELLIE-BEA COOPER and CG supervisor DOUG COOPER.
Since then, almost 100 creative people around the world have contributed their time and talent to our modest superhero slam fest. Each person modeling a prop here or animation a shot there as their schedule permitted. THE REMARKABLE THING IS THAT MOST OF THE CREW HAVE NEVER EVEN MET EACH OTHER IN PERSON. (выделено мной
They've squeezed out phenomenal work between the cracks of their day jobs at schools and animation houses and it's finally come together.
MAJOR DAMAGE will preview on August 14, 2001 at SIGGRAPH 2001 in the HP, NOTHING REAL and ALIAS booths. After that, you can look for it at a film festival near you!
