MAYA sucks!

You guys never mind about sripture... in any way MAYA sucks!!! Just a half a year ago I was sure that Maya is hte best tool ever been created. I expierenced last releas of 3ds MAX, fifth, I used with plug-ins, common they were, though when joint they become more producrive than Maya with its language that bejond enyone >: ) = ... for a example Maya is much slower than MAX when renders. Maya never increases such high quality image like MAX with Brazil ( increase up 128 bits of color depth, that is extreamly important when you need to balance contrast...) even with this samplekind renderer RenderMan. Discreet has stallen Maya navigation system and now Max is no worser than Maya. Max has UVW Anwrap & Box Multichanel mapping. It has 'Draw in all viewports' funcion to make your modelling easier than ever before... finally Max is easier to be realized. Character Studio plug-in has biped system( don't forget about similar to Maya bones system that is DEFAULT in Max + the plug), you just place the biped into you mesh, add footstep animation and you have a walking Character!!! You are free in choosing a mood to your creature or sript and develop your animation and create your own UI that makes you to focus not on searching for buttons but on creative work. You probably would scream after I shall send all these, things like: "if it was true, so why most of movies created in Maya?" Do not please! I do agree with the statement, they were not but they will be. Maya has not a single superiority... MAX does! Discreet's last product is cheaper and faster than Maya, it has better rendering if used with plug-ins and without ( You don't say "but it is with plug-ins... that is nature of Max, it has Open Architecture). By the way Reactor included in Max 5 and has more comfortable in usage tools for simulation such as Rigid, Soft and Cloth Bodies... I could type eternally. So think about you future.

Задолбал PJ. Ты не всех форумах это написал ?? Это - слова ЛАМЕРА. ЛАмера, который не хочет разбираться в тонкостях. ТЕбе главное поставить плагин, нажать на кнопку -- и все было готово. МАя круче, это все и так знают и профекссиональней. И ещё - чё ты на английском пишешь. Заметь, все люди на МАйском форуме написали те ответ на английском, в отличие от этого форума. Это тоже небольлшой показатель уровня

P.S. Либо у них с аглицким туго.

Я смотрю у тебя с английским туго, зато с другим языком всё в порядк:) В школе надо было (-:англицкий:), говорят помогает.
P.S. Может я в английском не спец, но общий смысл улавливаю, что MAYA SUCKS:)

Frankly, your english sucks!
If you cannot express yourself clearly, what anyone can expect from such a scum-back. If you must know, max 5 just recenly came out. Maya is the industry's standard and has been forever. That's why discreet copied the UI from Maya to become or at least get as close as possible to become an industry's statndard. Think this way, Maya was build for the reason to use on Hollywood Studios Computers (SGI) long ago and just recently switched to mainstream stations (since their speed is fast enough). Max is developing in the opposite direction, from home users to the Big Movie Studios, but unfortunate thing about it is NOBODY sees the MAX, so far, as the future of Hollywood. None of the SGI masters and teachers see max, in the same niche with Maya. Maya literally dominates the Movie Production Houses and Studios in the Big World of the Big and Expensive Movies. You can not populate your scene with millions and zeallions of moving parts and details without every minute crashing in any version of max (it is just not that reliable). But you can populate (using MelScript) any scene with billions and drillions of moving objects in Maya basicly 100% without freezing or crashing your computer, especially if you work on SGI.
So, please, give me a break and stop being narrow-minded-@!#$-with-under-developed-brain-and-over-rated-self-opinionated-grouchy-and-useless-attitude. You better off sit and read the Maya from A to Z and become a little less hostile to Maya people otherwise they just might @!#$ you up in the kisser.

Я пока промолчу лучше, в сторонке понаблюдаю =))) И в 3Д все это зпечатлю. МАХ мне в помощь =)

Все равно макс лучше и это тока вопрос времени пользование макса в фильмах
