Former ESC effects supervisors George Murphy and Greg Juby, and their 85-person group, created 176 effects shots. Furious visual effects supervisor David Lingenfelser's 12-person shop crafted 24 shots. Bryan Hirota, visual effects supervisor at CIS, and his 35-person crew, produced 150 shots, and Ian Hunter supervised a 40-person company at New Deal Studios which lensed one high speed miniature shot.
