Решил я посчитать ваш тест с помошью Turtle Beta, что скачал по ссылке, которую дал GoodMan, и вот результат:

Сцену с настройками рендерилки могу вам выслать и также картинку. У меня мнение складывается, что это будет достойной альтернативой Максовскому VRay в интерьерах, причём интерфейс черепахи понятный Mental Ray -user-ам.
