Release Notes
RenderMan Artist Tools version 6.0.1 is the latest point release, which includes the following changes to MTOR and Slim.

New Features
Support for Maya 6 has been added.
A new ResourceDirs preference allows a user/site to specify additional directories for resources (i.e. icons). This can be useful when working with custom collection types.
Arrays of strings are now supported as primitive variables. Now you can attach a string array (with an attribute name following our standard primvar naming conventions) and the array will either appear as a constant string array to primvar-aware shaders or as a uniform string where the string can change per-facets, as with per-face texture names.
Fixes
Ensembles now only recompile shaders when they are dirty.
User specified ranges are maintained when templates are reloaded.
Several file-naming issues have been resolved, regarding converting spaces and extraneous characters.
Locators no longer cause warnings when rendering selected.
The Graph Editor now handles hidden nodes better.
tclstring parameters now display mouse-over help balloons.
Several minor fixes to the UI and to coordinate systems.
