- True instance rendering
- Global photon maps
- Irradiance map algorithm has been improved
- VRayMtl has been optimized to handle secondary light bounces more efficiently (by using Russian roulette rejection). When using VRayMtl, you can use high values for the depth of secondary diffuse reflections for the fraction of the time this took in previous builds.
- Distributed rendering has been improved
- Added the option to automatically save the irradiance/caustic/photon maps at the end of rendering.

Additionally, some small bugs have been corrected and some interface improvements were made (mostly in VRayLights).
