Dwarves live a long life, have great power, they are secretive, do not trust anyone, treacherous and hardy. Often they can command the forces of the earth when digging tunnels and caves. They guard their city from attacks of trolls, orcs and goblins, and take with them into battle, as they guard their countless treasures from the dragon, who is not averse to capture the wealth of the dwarves and take their caves.
