Plowhead is named after its function to dig. These creatures are used by the chief hunters to hunt a very specific prey that escapes deep into the earth at the first sight of danger. Plowhead digs tunnels using its massive horn to reach the prey. The back legs support the weight of the creature while the front paws work the soil away. Besides that these creature are excellent mounts and are very well suited to carry weight and wear battle armor. This personal project is an exercise in creature design. During the project I adapted a new workflow involving Zbrush. This is my very first sculpt in this software. I have included my 2d concepts as well.
