if it is about the FloatingPointSol plugin, then it is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggggggg piece of junk. Really. if you have a complicated mesh, it will take ages and, if your machine does not crash, the results is simmilar with meshtonurb command.

I have tried it a coulpe of times, on some anatomic reconstructions if each and every time proved a big crap.

CYSlice is a far better solution for patch conversion....(see emule for more)
