Character was created under inspire by films such as Black Hawk Down, American Sniper, The Hurt Locker, The number one... well, just American films about the elite soldiers of the United States. The basis was taken US assault unit from Battlefield 4. I looked through hundreds photos of soldiers and accidentally saw the ranger who had three weapons - a pistol, a carbine and Super Shorty behind. So there, I chose a non-standard arsenal (usually a pistol and a rifle for medium-long range). M4-like machines I drew, so i took a semi-automatic hand-grenade multiply charged Milkor MGL-140 or the M32 and M9 with MP5k to fight at medium range. The entire character was painted in zbrush. Helmet, goggles, headset, and IK strobe light on the helmet behind - 3ds max. Retopology i did in 3ds max, the maps were baked in xNormal, textured in Photoshop + Quixel SUITE + Substance Painter + Mudbox, Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2, post-processed in Photoshop. Textures are 4096x4096 PBR spec / gloss workflow with calibration for Marmoset Toolbag 2.
